Console Adapters Support
Use this page to check compatibility, connect a controller adapter, and solve common detection or pairing problems.
Check compatibility before setup
- Identify the exact adapter model printed on the product or packaging.
- Confirm that the adapter supports both your target console and your controller.
- Check whether the controller must be wired, wireless, or connected through its original USB receiver.
Basic connection
- Turn off the console.
- Connect the adapter directly to the correct console port.
- Connect the controller with a known-good data-capable USB cable.
- Turn on the console and wait for the adapter indicator to stabilize.
- Press the controller's Home, Guide, or PS button if required.
Adapter not detected
- Try another data-capable USB cable and console port.
- Remove USB hubs, extension cables, and other adapters during testing.
- Restart the console with the adapter already connected.
- Test the controller directly on another compatible device.
